Today I have created more cyanotypes. I think my previous pieces were successful, therefore I wanted to try them again using some images I have recently taken. I have used some old paper and some fabric. I don't think these were as successful as my previous cyanotypes because they lack detail. One of the cyanotypes are very faded, where you are only able to see a slight part of her face. I like the paper that I have worked with, however, I don't know whether that could have impacted the outcome.
One of my favourite things about this is the rough painting on the paper. I think the old paper works well with the uneven edges so this is something I like, despite the overall outcome not being the most successful.
I also created a cyanotype on fabric for the first time. I thhink the outcome could have been a lot stroner than it was, and with more time and a different image I think I could make it look a lot better.
